Action Group Staffing

Minimum 1 Year experience in Assembly

Action Group Staffing is currently seeking a packer to fill an opening with a company located in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidates should be able to assemble sensors, transducers, and transmitters.

Requirements of the Assembler

  • Self-starter and works with minimal supervision

  • Must be reliable and detail-oriented

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Able to read and interpret assembly drawings and manufacturing procedures/instructions

  • Must be able to read in English

  • Ability to solder wire connectors

  • Ability to work with chemicals and potting compounds

Benefits of the Assembler

  • Flexible full-time hours between 6 am–6 pm Monday-Friday

  • Pay rate starting at $17 hourly depending on experience

  • This is a temporary-to-hire position

Responsibilities of the Assembler

  • Prepare cable assembly

  • Properly positioning wires, cables, and connector adapters

  • Solder-printed circuit boards

  • Set up ovens and keep track of curing times

  • Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality

  • Use and follow manufacturing work instructions and procedures

  • Read mechanical assembly drawings
