CAD Drafter

Action Group Staffing is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to prepare, generate,and update manufacturing drawings for projects and assembly/manufacturing using AutoCAD software for a local manufacturer near the MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of AutoCAD experience and be able to reliably commute.

Requirements of theCAD Drafter:

• 2-3 years of verifiable AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with mild and structural steel
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs
• Experience with Inventor software
• Perform math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry and apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities of the AutoCAD Drafter

• Developing product designs and creating production drawings.
• Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices mathematics, materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
• Revises and updates existing drawings reflecting design changes to ensure consistent documentation.
• Creates documentation for determining shipping requirements for product deliveries (load drawings).
• Creates and maintains programs and documentation for CNC production equipment.
• Processes and verifies work orders, accurately completing work tasks according to schedule and changing priorities.
• Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings and an accurate CAD database
• May assist the shop
