Chemical Operator

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have a valid driver’s licenses and be able to drive a forklift
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Experience in chemical manufacturing facility or other industrial plant experience
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shift including night shift
• Must be fully trained in the Fluorine generation process, Iodine Penta-Fluoride, Antimony Penta-Fluoride and Carbon Mono fluoride process and related emergency procedures

Responsibilities

• Control equipment systems that process chemical substance into specified products
• Operate a variety of process equipment, including but not limited to; reaction systems, filters, storage tanks, reactors, pump, process logic control systems (PLC), chillers, compressors and pressure vessels in compliance with prescribed operating procedures.
• Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines, using panelboards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment
• Record operating data, such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readings
• Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products into and out of process equipment
