Diesel Mechanic

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on company trailers as directed by shop foreman including refrigeration units, brakes, lights, wheel seals, air bags, flooring, wiring, bumpers, landing legs, equalizer, mud flaps, leveling arms
• Move trailers to designated areas when ready
• Promptly complete and submit required paperwork associated with repairs and service
• Care for company tools and equipment, ensuring that al equipment is checked in and out
• Observe and comply with company safety policies and procedures and DOT rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift up 50-100lbs pounds with assistance
• Ability to function in a shop environment, which includes exposure to outside temperatures and conditions, loud noises, fumes, odors and potential safety hazards, while applying knowledge of safety procedures at all time
• Ability to stand/stoop for extended periods of time, use hands, arms, legs and move whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and pulling
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Must have own hand tools
• Valid driver’s license; CLD preferred
• Working knowledge of industry and tractor-trailer components
• High School diploma or GED required

• Location: Sapulpa, Oklahoma
• Starting Pay $15.00-$22.00 per hour
