Flexo Operator

Action Group Staffing is currently seeking a Flexo Print Operator. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in operating a Flexographic printing press.

Requirements:

• Ability to set up plates, dies and inks as specified
• Load subtrates onto the press machine
• Ability to mount and strip plates

Responsibilities:

• Review job ticket and work with Press Helper to ensure job is set up properly on the press per required specifications and job notes (ink, dies, stock, plates).
• Communicate with Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager regarding any issues with the labels and dies
• Ensure proper data and collection for each job , including material and variance
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and additional press operator training.
