General Labor

We are currently looking for a Metal Polisher / General Labor to fill an openings with a Metal industry for a company located in Rockaway NJ. The ideal candidate should have experience using tools as sand blast machine, polisher, drill, etc.

Requirements of the Metal Polisher / General Labor:

• Knowledge of manual and power hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Carrying, moving material, reaching, pushing, bending, standing, etc.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Metal Grinding/ Polishing a plus, training available.

Benefits of the Metal Polisher/ General Labor:

• Pay rate $17-$18 per hour
• Monday – Friday 7am-3:30 pm.
• Overtime available as needed

Responsibilities of the Metal Polisher / General Labor:

• Grinding / Polishing of welds.
• Preparation for assembler of products by cleaning and inspecting.
• Follow instructions according to quality specifications.
• Communicate with Supervisor regarding status of job, problems encountered and timeliness of job.
• Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
