Lab Technician

Action Group Staffing is currently hiring a temporary Lab Technician for a manufacturer in the MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor. Ideal candidates will have 1 year of labratory experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements of the Lab Technician:

• Prior labratory experience preferred
• Willing to learn processes and procedures
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work around chemicals including ammonia, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, alcohol, methanol and acetone.
• Able to work on elevated platforms with PPE
• Reliable transportation
• Good attendance for 6-8 week assignment

• Starting wage of $17/hr+ based on experience

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

• Performing analysis of chemical products
• Taking samples
• Entering data into Excel spreadsheet
• Useing various tools including graduated cylinders, burettes, pipettes, scales, PH meters, titrators and kilns.
