Maintenance Mechanic

Currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to fill an opening in a plastics manufacturer in Broken Arrow, OK. The ideal candidate should have previous experience installing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment for a minimum of 2 years.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
• 2 years or more of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic pump, mechanical and industrial skills with wiring experience.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. occasionally

Benefits of the Maintenance Technician:

• Monday- Friday
• Schedule is 7:30am to 4pm
• Pay rate $20 + per hour based on experience
• Overtime available as needed

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
