QA Inspector

Now hiring an entry-level Quality Inspector for local manufacturer in Pryor. Ideal candidates will undertsand fractions, have computer experience and be able to read blueprints.

Requirements of the Quality Inspector

• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Good attendance
• Pass drug screens regularly for continued employment

• Starting salary at $18/hr

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

• Read process card for instructions
• Lift castings for inspections (hoist may be used).
• Visually check inner and outer surfaces for any defect or imperfection, attention to detail is critical.
• Grind off small imperfections and use glazing putty when needed.
• Record on permanent record all pertinent information from castings.
• Use forklift to move castings, pallets, etc.
• Evaluate and mark areas for repair or to be scrapped.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Know safety rules that apply to the safety of others and to personal safety.
• Report malfunction of equipment to proper authority and non-conformances and concerns to proper authority.
• Perform other work as instructed by supervisor.
