Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilites:

• Manage root cause analysis program including 8D, 5-why, fishbone, etc. Communicate findings and establish preventative action measures with customer engagement. Use proactive tools like DFMEA/ PFMEA to identify quality control issues before they happens, and work with the quality supervisor to implement preventative measures.
• Work with quality control documentation team to update visual work instructions, quality inspection checklists, and data collection points; ensure data collection is useful and actionable for preventative measures
• Advocate and educate all company employees with the company’s misson.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate with all departments, departments, and customers.
• Strong computer literacy to develop and maintain digital process documentation, Microsoft Office suite proficiency required.
• Desire to further education and obtain required certifications.
• Preferred experience with ISO9001 documentation, and Six Sigma green or Black certification.
•  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
