Welder/Fabricator
MIG Welder Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints
· Select the appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios for different jobs
· Prepare both metals and work surfaces for the production process
· Measure, cut, and drill materials to meet the specifications of the project
· Test the strength of your welds after each has been made
· Keep your welding tools clean and functional
· Assist us in maintaining our inventory and the cleanliness of our shop
· Follow all relevant safety procedures and protocols
Ability to operate some or all of the following is preferred, but not required:
· Bandsaw
· Drill press
· Punch press
· Notcher
· Shear press
· CNC plasma table
· CNC tube plasma
