Front Desk Coordinator
Answers phone lines and directs phone calls takes messages, greets all who enter and leave Action Group, run the front end of the application process, passes out weekly paychecks and annual W2s, distributes daily mail, provides all paperwork to potential employees, performs basic clerical functions, enters applications, filing, and assists/supports Recruiting Coordinator, Management and Executive Leadership Team on special projects. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.
Job Duties:
Answer all phone calls quickly and professionally.

Everyone who comes into Action should be greeted in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner. Welcome them to Action. Assist them however is needed. Thank them for coming when they leave.
Paychecks must be signed for and ID shown to verify the employee picking up the check. Anyone picking up a check on behalf of the employee must have a current dated note signed by the employee granting permission to pick up the check (check ID). The same applies to W2s.
Clean the front entry as needed during the day
Take out the trash on Wednesdays
Make sure mail is distributed to the correct department/office
Enter in new and updated employee files into Lotus notes as time allows
Conduct special projects as needed to help Recruiting Coordinator and Office Manager
Treat everyone as you wish to be treated, with integrity and respect. Be courteous, fair, polite, respectful, and professional at all times.
This position will also be required, due to workload and amount of office staff, to serve in the role of a Staffing Coordinator Trainee. The following functions will also be included in this position.
Operational duties include (but are not limited to):
Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and testing candidates
Taking/filling orders and managing the order lifecycle
Targeted recruiting, screening, hiring, orientation, and training of temporary employees
Data entry of applications and test results
Running background screens and communicating results
Problem resolution and employee relations
Customer reporting & service delivery
Administration of employee retention programs
Maintain communication between the customer, temporary employees, and Action Group staff
Participate in meetings to understand department needs.
Ensure overall satisfaction and offer customized solutions
Strive to meet and exceed customer expectations
Special projects as assigned
