Action Group Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Weekend Header Welder for a manufacturer in the Port of Catoosa area.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Three day work week with 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements of Weekend Header Welder:
- 3-5 years’ code welding experience
- Blueprint reading
- Fit and fabricate components
- Test include root pass and fill and cap
- Continuous improvement or ISO 9000 environment preferred
Responsibilities of Weekend Header Welder:
- Set up and adjust welding equipment
- Read and analyze blueprints for specifications
- Assemble headers utilizing GMAW, GTAW and SMAW
- Quality management and continuous improvement
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
