We are currently hiring experienced Structure Louver Fitter Welder with an international manufacturer in the Port of Catoosa that specializes in steel manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will be able to weld fabricated structural steel parts in a shop environment while planning sequence of operation and meeting quality standard codes.
Pay: $22/hr+ BOE
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication blueprints, drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements and welding specifications.
- Plan sequence of operation for project
- Select specified electrode and load welding gun
- Obtain amperage, voltage slope and pulse specs from Welding Engineer
Requirements:
- 2+ years welding and fitting experience
- Ability to pass 2G and 3G weld test
- Must be able to use and read welding measuring devices to include but not limited to squares, levels, and tape measures.
- Pass drug screening and background check.
