Mechanic

• Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting, testing & repairing vehicles & utility trailers;
• Performs preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire change & rotation, wheel balancing, replacing fluids & filters.
• Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical malfunctions.
• Replaces parts and components;
• Keeps fleet operating by performing routine maintenance & repairs.
• Must be able to troubleshoot breakdowns and diagnose necessary repairs need to keep fleet operating.

Skills/Qualifications: Working knowledge of utility trailers & auto maintenance and repair.  Must be able to operate tools & equipment related to general automotive repair (including axels, wheels & tires)  and other related auto repair equipment.
